Been months since I last blogged. On 19th April 2010, I flew to Japan, Tokyo alone! Never expect the trip to be a month long. My last trip to a few places in Thailand for stocktake last for only 4 days.

Hectic trip

Boarded SQ 0978 at 1835 on tuesday to bangkok. Greeted by a representative by the cab company and the journey of travelling began.

2hours road trip to Pattaya. Was 10 years since I last been there. Changed alot. Received a call from the facilities manager, Hanafiah. "Ho Seh Boh?", thats the first sentence from him which shocked me, because I thought that he was a thai all along. Met him and a US guy for seafood at "walking street". Hes been there for 4 yrs+, with a good command in thai language. A great host! He told me, he was in US for 7-8 years and on the first day, there wasn't anyone to take care of him and he was left all alone. Hence he understands the feeling of working overseas alone.

Did my work and flew to Hatyai at 6am on thursday from bangkok. That means, sleeping for an hour, waking up at 2.15am, checking out at 2.45am, picked up by driver, reached bangkok airport at 5am. BUT, a nice business class, booked by my client.

Kom, supervisor over at Hatyai facilities. Another great host, but this time, a thai.
Travelled back on thursday night at 2150hr to bangkok for a stay at Chaophyrat Park Hotel.

Flew back to Singapore on thursday, 180909, to give my dearest a surprise... Happy Anniversary my dear!

I first thought the trip would be a bad one, considering the rushing and travelling. But two hosts made it possible for all the seafood (i had seafood practically every meal except for breakfast), entertainment at night.

Although I did make alot of calls when things happened, (i.e. miscommunications between client and cab company) and that left me sitting and waitin quite a few times. My iphone is full of thai numbers, haha.... and no doubt, alot of smses from my miss.

All in all, a wonderful trip, meeting great people and understand whats staying overseas alone.....

Celebrated my TiTi's birthday at a few places. Without a doubt, her map reading skills are getting better. haha.... Turn left or right? Where now? Right ah? Then later go out from where?

Understand that shes having a hard time at her workplace, but still, there are ups and downs. What to do? Working is never smooth, so just work happily, and if you can't be happier enough to work the next day, find a better job. The grass is always greener not in your own company.... hahaha.

I am officially on study/exam leave till 1st of June. But still, there will be phonecalls and smses from colleagues to get work done.

Having courses recently for the past 2-3 weeks at office. Although its quite fun to be back having lunch and chitchat with my batch, but still, L&E is BORING! REALLY! Like what Doris described, you will turn into a drug addict, yawning like you never did before.

Love life? I still love my TiTi alot! haha although a very stupid mistake happened.... wahahhaa secret. Its always great to have someone beside, when you feel down and when you have happy stuffs to share. You are the one!

29/08/08, the date that marks the end of pwc auditing for her. Happy for her that she has joined the outram alumni. Haiz.. best friend gone liao! Hope she will be happier over there! (you know that tray? medics will come with a tray to put you in and carry you to the ambulance... wahaha) thats called a TRAY.

This year would be a hard year for me. Last year for my degree, 2nd year of my job (which means higher commitment and greater responsibility) and also LOWER PAY!

More and more colleagues are leaving the firm. Why are nice and great people leaving? haiz... there must be some human management problem which must be resolve.
No doubt, my batch wont be leaving that soon, except for "say only", haha travis... now i know your dream. GO PURSUE!

Office will be that empty soon. From the first time we enter, where we have slightly above 100 staffs, to now, 70+. Maybe merging with upstairs will do some miracle to stop the KPI going down.

HK TRIP

Tyhpoon "Feng Shen" hit Hongkong on the first day we depart. Flight delay for an hour because it was rated no.8 "feng qiu". rain and rain everyday.... 1 umbrella broken, first time!

Back on 30th but was on a stocktake, initially thought can return back to office to get my first letter... promotion and bonus. but friends in office told me, NO LETTER, collect the next day.

my coach is leaving. WHY! i hope my new coach is good and again, i need to let him/her know my aim again. quite a number of colleagues are leaving too.

Next mth pay+bonus = pay UOL (aka money-sucker) $1000 + treat family + "you know that bag"

Ages since i last blogged.

My exams are over! No high hopes for achieving good results but at least passes are good enough.... Just glad that a year is over and one more year to go! Will start my classes from 7th July onwards. Gonna adjust myself back to those days of working and studying....
4 more modules and i will wear that harry potter liked robe, haha.

Back to work on the 3rd, everything seemed so stranger to me. "Oh, finally you are back!" hate to hear this, which 99% of the time would meant to be SAI KANG! Its back to AUDIT!

Overseas trip with my TiTi from 25th - 29th this month! TO HONGKONG! This will be my 3rd trip counting back from June last year when i went to Taiwan and later last year to Thailand. AM I RICH or AM I JUST TOO RICH!? hahaha..... life is about earning big bucks (ok i know now is small bucks, but one day will be BIG!) and enjoying life.
THANKS TiTi! as usual, she will be planning our trip like what she did for Taiwan!

i will strive to survive! evil forces shall be eliminated.

i got my new laptop, LENOVO T61! through luck, i got my laptop changed. having too much problems with my dell previously, visiting them like 3 times a week.

the IT fair @ suntec, got myself a 2gb thumbdrive, linksys wireless router and as for my gf, a 32" lcd tv. singaporeans are really waiting for great deals before deciding where to spend their hard earned cash. those people queueing up for purchasing tv.... amazingly flooded the whole level2.

other than electronics stuff, i bought sweater from river island. makes me look like a college student in those uk. hahahaha, personally like it alot.

"I AM LEGEND" - although the storyline is good, but its still a "one man show". 6.5/10

"National Treasure" - better than the previous chapter, nice storyline with scenes of like tomb raider. 8/10

"The Warlords" - dirty movie. thru out the whole 2hours+, they are just dirty and muddy. But as some of you know, i love war films. so its a 9.5/10!

I went for my dental treatment! S$140。。。。。2fillings, 1 polishing, 1 cleaning and 1 flouride something something, pinkish thing that should protect my teeth.TI TI got hers at $60! with polishing.

Was told that i could have braces to readjust my upper and lower jaw as its in the wrong position right now, but dentist said that 99% is for comestic purposes, if i feel that its ok, then its perfectly alright.

SO WHY WASTE MONEY!? hahaha..

Something about my birthday, maybe SOME OF YOU OUT THERE MIGHT FORGOTTEN MY BIRTHDAY!

Actually intended to celebrate during the weekends, and work on my birthday and having lessons at night. But my beautiful and sweet girlfriend kept on saying that, “Wah so sad ah….. birthday still work and study…. Got more sad anot..?” So finally, I decided to take leave and spent time with my girlfriend, where she will plan the whole day’s programme.

The day started when she surprised me when I was doing something ( hahah she knows about it, secret) in my room. Plan to finish doing that “thing” then proceed to meet her, but she came early with a cake and two presents, on top of my HTC TOUCH! I love the notebook with the 100 thanks…… touching, funny, and lame. Nice t-shirt, though it can be seen everywhere in Thailand and shes felt cheated. After a short session of hot action ( hohoho, hot hot one), she brought me to Sentosa and we spent the whole afternoon there. The LUGE is fun! But the most exciting and scary part, is the SKYRIDE! Darn it, she knew I am afraid of heights! We tried to act as Koreans…. “Ah Neo Ha Say Yo”, Japanese… and idiots…. Ok not much about idiots. Nice sunset at the southern most part of don’t know what la. Hogsbreath Café, nice atmosphere, nice live singer, good voice… and really big portion of food. Recommend to go again. But abit pricey compared to other similar restaurant.

I really appreciate what my girlfriend did for me…. Although we don’t get to see the big Christmas tree, BUT we can still see it from my corridor! Hahah. Truly heartfelt love.

WHERE ARE ALL MY COLLEAGUES! I hate being alone in office, cause all the shits will come to you. I love going on jobs, because you get to wake up late, you get to be chauffeur around (flag for your cab) and mostly importantly, YOU ALSO GET TO WORK ALL THE TIME!

Right now I am sitting at my work station, back at office, I should be happier…. But I don’t seem to be. My job this week was cancelled last minute because of client termination. Happy and sad.

Some updates. I just return from Thailand, fun trip with the ladies (although holdings to alot, I mean A LOT of shopping bags ). Things are dirt cheap there….. serious dirt cheap. Its like 7-8bucks for each clothing, meant for ladies. But sadly, for my berms and shirts, its highly priced compared. Food wise, not comparable to Taiwan. People there are nice, very nice. The way they speak…. Very…ermmm very DIA.

My girlfriend told me to post some pictures, but I hate blogs with heavy loading because of pictures. I just want to keep it nice and simple, like my blogskin. Hahah.

Okay, people are saying that this place on the internet is “BORING” “NO UPDATES”. YES, that person is TS, aka TIN SIONG. So I must plan to write something now to entertain some of you here. But first of all, just some recent updates:

1.My dear girl bought me a new phone, HTC TOUCH! Although still trying to know how to use it, but I LOVE the phone.
2.I will be overseas for the period from 14/11/2007 to 17/11/2007.
3.I got my early early early birthday gift from my lovely colleagues! I will find someday to wear that shirt.
4.AND LASTLY, I got my flu from my lovely colleagues too…. Darn it

RELATIONSHIPS. Often happens in an office environment when a boy, likes a girl, and later somehow they become a pair. But underground. Ok I shall not say much. People have eyes to see!!!!!

THAILAND

I am going to thailand on the 14th of November 2007! With my lovely mo-ca-ca and two of my best mates, Celine, who think that shes "stupid" herself because of...i also forgotten and Huixian, my dont know how many years of friend. Actually the thought came up during august/september, but air tix were expensive... we thought. but somehow, even though the air tix is expensive now, we still decided, SHOULD GO! It will be a four day trip lasting thru till saturday.

Im gonna tailor shirts once i check-in! thats the most important thing for my this trip. leather shoes, if there is any. pants, maybe. food, of course, as most people would know, i like the feeling of eating so full until when you burped, the food gushes out from your throat.. okok EEEEWWW. lots of singlets, although ah gua bought me 2. slippers and shorts.

A big hall with a quite fun theme, although quite unrealistic, FUTURE 2099. Guys, YES GUYS are required to reach early to "choop" seats. Thats at 5.45pm. But all efforts wasted when seats are allocated this year, unlike all the previous years.

Food: 7/10
Fun: 8/10 (Self-table entertain)
Service: 8/10

Overall, the whole dinner was alright for me. Pictures are too big for this blog, don't wish to turn this small corner into a picture viewing section. Had a little chat at starbucks, some serious chat about our past few months in the firm. Gossips, fun, jokes and a load of shit. Our group is getting more bonded compared to the first day when we sat at the same table. Only guys are talking. The journey is still long...... the 11 of us, we will have alot of grumbles, happiness and tears to share.

And lastly, sorry dear..... neglected you last night. My bad.

I am going to the zoo zoo zoo, how bout you you you……

Upon hearing the news of 3pm zoo and its just a mere 2 hours….. it just saddened my Friday. I need to rush to marina south pier for my dinner on cruise from the FREAKING far MANDAI zoo! For those wondering where is mandai, ITS IN THE NORTH. Which means from north to south…. I seriously pray that my senior manager is gonna drive us there, or else the cab fare (can we claim? Bullshit) would be like what I always say, “CHUI!”

Recently, there was a guy who was so fond of one of my colleague. Yes you might wonder, he must know her for long, friends of her and such.

And my colleague is attached, sweetly in love.

BUT NO! ….. he has never spoken a single word to her, it all started when he got attracted by her looks. And things got worst when he got crazy over her that he wanted to buy a branded bag for her.

Love on first sight still exist?

Does he really love her or just purely because of appearance?

Is he not even a bit courageous to talk to her?

And yes, this is how he types his blog. His blog has become one of my daily visits and like what TS said, YOUR DAILY ENTERTAINMENT. Its like reading The New Paper or any other newspapers. When he started his 1st blog which revolves around my “that” colleague, I became his daily visitor, everyday….. at work, after school, after work. Its fun reading and knowing how he thinks. My gf visits too! hahaha and shared with her colleagues too.

He became popular......

Today marks 3 months and 2 days working in this firm. Its quite a big transition from 2 years of service in a big organisation ( you know la, ….army) to wearing a tie with office wear, sitting down in front of a laptop and most importantly, acting busy every now and then. For those who had been through national service would know, when you are inside, it feels so terrible booking in and out every weekend (I mean those who stay-in, for those 8-5 maggots, just curse you guys to hell) and wondering what you should do with no internet and television. And definitely, when you are have completed your national service, there are sure to be aunties coming up to you,

“NS finish liao ah?” (Obviously in hokkien, but just translating)

then you will reply, “Ya, finish NS liao!”

“Wah very fast hor, two years over like blink of the eye”.

“ya ya ya, if really blink of the eye over, then I think already blink for million times liao.”

Sometimes I just don’t understand, why females think that national service is short and guys keep whining about very siong la, hot, shack and stuffs like that.

For myself, I just feel that it’s a total different experience where you cant have it either in school or work.

And for the females out there, remember to show a (WOW, THAT’S INTERESTING) look when your guy friends or boyfriends starts to talk (whine) about army.

After lunch, ts, zt and I was at the pantry chit chatting away and as you know, guys will start to say about army. That’s definite! Surely will start to talk about national service one. I was amazed by zt’s passion about army when he starts to talk about his extention of ORD date, his eyes was filled with HONOR AND GLORY! Hahaha how I wish I can escape from that horrible organisation, I can never think of someone ( other than officers ) extending ORD date so that he can participate in some exercise.

Those who are working right at this very moment and also reading this, PLEASE, give a serious look and start pressing your calculator once in a while, don’t let those seniors/managers see you smiling off at your workstation. CAUSE, working is not fun at all and it wont cause you to smile too.
